Are you missing "junk food"?? - Then why not make it?

For this recipe, you can use different kinds of meat just as you could a taco, but I was going to write about using ground beef. I've done it with chicken, brisket, and carnitas. If you like it simpler, you can even go for the pre cooked chicken. You do have a lot of freedom with this dish. You can make it as healthy or unhealthy as you would like.

Meat
 1 lb ground beef
 salt, to taste
 pepper, to taste
 1 tbsp butter
Other ingredients
lettuce, sliced, amount depends on your preference
1 tomato, diced, or more, if preferred
1 sweet onion, diced. Any onion will do
 shredded cheese, or nacho dip
 tortilla chips
large flour tortillaHow many depends on you. I think a pound of ground beef might be enough for 3-5 people
small flour tortillasHow many depends on you. I think a pound of ground beef might be enough for 3-5 people
Sauce
1 cup sour cream, or to taste
2 tbsp hot sauce, or to taste
 onion powder, to taste
 garlic powder, to taste
 1 lime, juice of
Meat

Heat a pan. Once it is heated, add a little bit of oil. Add the ground beef. Season well, definitely feel free to experiment and use additional ones. Once it starts to look cooked, add some butter.

Sauce
2

Combine the sour cream, hot sauce, powders, and lime juice and set it aside. You can either dollop it later, or make a DIY piping bag. Basically, I use a Ziploc bag. Fill it with the sauce. I then make the slight cut in one of the corners. Using this 'piping bag' allows me to spread the sauce a little bit better.

Do you have extra time? You can actually make the flour tortilla home made too! It's ok don't. But if it is premade, don't forget to heat them for a little bit. This is a very important step and makes a big impact on the taste.

4

First, lay the large flour tortilla.

5

Add the meat. If you are using nacho cheese, you can top the meat with it.

6

Give it a drizzle of our sauce.

7

Add tortilla chips. (If you are feeling like doing extra, you can also fry the tortilla to make the chips)

8

Add the onions, tomatoes, and lettuce.

9

If you are using shredded cheese, add it now.

10

Drizzle with more sauce.

11

Top with the smaller tortilla.

12

Fold the larger tortilla. You kinda want to crump the sides a little bit, kinda like an empanada.

13

On a large pan, carefully lay the assembled crunchwrap. Cook each side until is slightly browned. Sometimes, it does disassemble slightly. But the amount we put in it does affect the chances of it unraveling.
