This recipe is ideal for those times when you need to make a lot of hot chocolate! Rather than heating up the milk on the stove, and stirring and stirring so it doesn’t burn, or heating up one mug at a time in the microwave.

In the Instant Pot, add all of these ingredients. Mix well.
Place the lid on and set the manual timer for 5 minutes.
When the chime sounds, allow the pot to naturally release for 15 minutes (count up to L15:00).
After 15 minutes has passed, or when you are ready to serve, quick release the pressure.
Optional: Top with mini marshmallows and/or whipped cream.
This recipe works best if you let it naturally release as long as possible! This is great to make ahead of time and have it hot and ready to go in advance.
