Watermelon and Pineapple Fruit Skewers

Summer is here and it is "Tropical" fruit season in the pantry! Enjoy these fruit skewers for breakfast or as a simple dessert.

This makes 6 skewers so feel free to double.

 6 Skewer Sticks If using wooden ones, be sure to soak for 30 mins in cold water
 1 cup Watermelon, cubed
 1 cup Pineapple
 1 tbsp Honey
 1 tbsp Lime juice
Yogurt Sauce
 ½ cup Yogurt, plain or greek
 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
 6 Fresh Mint leaves, finely chopped

Soak wooden skewers sticks for 30 mins

Heat the grill to 400F. Skip this step if you are using the fire pit.

Skewer fruit onto sticks.

Combine honey and lime juice, then brush onto fruit.

Grill skewers on the grill or on a medium/high heat until they begin to brown and caramelize a little.

Combine yogurt, brown sugar and mint. Serve the sauce with the fruit.
