INGREDIENTS
6 Frozen biscuits
1 Pork sausage package About a 1 lb
1 Small sweet onion, diced
3 tbsp Butter
⅓ cup Flour
3 cups Milk
Fresh cracked black pepperFor a tiny kick, you can also add 1/4 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes
HoneyThe amount is a drizzle- a quick squeeze across the top of gravy
DIRECTIONS
1Bake biscuits according to instructions. About 15-20 minutes in an oven heated to 375.
2While biscuits are baking, heat a large heavy-bottomed skillet or Dutch oven to med-high heat. Cook sausage, breaking it up into small pieces as it fries. When most of the meat is browned add diced onions and butter. Cook until onions are translucent.
3Add flour to sausage mixture and cook for about 3 minutes. Add pepper.
Slowly add milk to skillet, about a cup at a time. Stirring and allowing the milk to heat and thicken. The gravy will thicken as it heat up.
You can always add more milk if you’d prefer the gravy a little thinner.

4Drizzle the honey over the top of gravy. Stir until combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Generously spoon over fresh hot biscuits and serve immediately.
