INGREDIENTS

 6 Frozen biscuits
1 Pork sausage package About a 1 lb
 1 Small sweet onion, diced
 3 tbsp Butter
  cup Flour
 3 cups Milk
Fresh cracked black pepperFor a tiny kick, you can also add 1/4 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes
HoneyThe amount is a drizzle- a quick squeeze across the top of gravy

DIRECTIONS

1

Bake biscuits according to instructions. About 15-20 minutes in an oven heated to 375.

2

While biscuits are baking, heat a large heavy-bottomed skillet or Dutch oven to med-high heat. Cook sausage, breaking it up into small pieces as it fries. When most of the meat is browned add diced onions and butter. Cook until onions are translucent.

3

Add flour to sausage mixture and cook for about 3 minutes. Add pepper.
Slowly add milk to skillet, about a cup at a time. Stirring and allowing the milk to heat and thicken. The gravy will thicken as it heat up.
You can always add more milk if you’d prefer the gravy a little thinner.

4

Drizzle the honey over the top of gravy. Stir until combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Generously spoon over fresh hot biscuits and serve immediately.
