When a recipe or a salad calls for cherry tomatoes to be sliced, do you cringe? Or think about how much time it’s going to take to individually slice them?? Try this tip!
You’ll need a sharp knife and two plastic lids. Or you can use a plate, inverted, if it has a base. The goal is to keep the tomatoes contained.

INGREDIENTS
1 pt Cherry tomatoes
DIRECTIONS

Using one of the lids, place it with the ridges up, and lay 10-12, rinsed, cherry tomatoes on it.

Place the second lid on top of tomatoes and gently hold firm with one hand.

Using a sharp knife, slice in between the two lids. Careful to not cut any plastic pieces with the tomatoes.
