Life is crazy busy— especially in the morning. Green smoothies are the healthiest fast food! This bright green gem will delight your taste buds. You’ll even have an extra pep in your step when you realize how great you feel!

You do need a blender or Nutribullet to blitz the fresh ingredients. This makes 4 smoothies.

INGREDIENTS

 2 cups Water (cold)Preferably filtered
 1 small handful of Parsley A small handful is about half a cup or 30 grams
 1 small handful of CilantroA small handful is about half a cup or 30 grams
 1 small handful of SpinachA small handful is about half a cup or 30 grams
 1 small handful of KaleA small handful is about half a cup or 30 grams
 2 stalks of Celery, chopped
 1 Cucumber, peeled and chopped
 1 small knob of Ginger, skin removed
 1 large Apple, cored and cut in 4
 1 large Bananaor 1 cup fresh Pineapple
 1 Lemon, juiced this is about 2 tablespoons

DIRECTIONS

Add all the water and all the ingredients to your blender, or to the "Fill line" of your Nutribullet cup.

Blend until completely smooth. Add additional water if you have trouble blending it all together.

Taste and adjust flavors as needed. For example, you can add more apple or banana for sweetness; ginger for some zing; or lemon for tartness.

Serve smoothie immediately for maximum health benefits.
Smoothie can be stored for 2 days in the fridge.
