Taco Tuesday? Spanish Sunday? Mexican Monday? Carnitas!
This Mexican version of pulled pork. Crispy bites of this salty meat, come from an additional step to your shredded pork loin, a few minutes under the broiler. Use the Pulled Pork recipe to roast the pork.
Serve atop of fresh corn tortillas, grilled onions, tomatoes, fresh avocado slices, spicy salsa and a slice of lime.

INGREDIENTS

 2 cups Shredded, roasted pork
 2 tbsp Powdered garlic
 2 tbsp Powdered onion
 1 tsp CuminCan be omitted
 2 tbsp Cilantro, driedIf using fresh, add a couple tbsp after meat is broiled
 1 tsp Crushed red pepperLeave off to avoid spice
 1 Large orange, halved
 Salt and pepper
 Toppings: grilled onion, fresh avocado, tomatoes, salsa, cheese

DIRECTIONS

Preheat broiler to high.
Line baking sheet with foil.
In medium bowl, mix meat with spices. Spread in single layer on top of foil. Squeeze 1 orange half over meat.
Broil until crispy . Keep a careful eye to not let meat burn, about 7-10 minutes, or less.

After heated and crisped, squeeze other half of orange over meat. Season with salt and pepper.
Make tacos!
Heat corn tortillas, add meat, grilled onions, salsa, avocados...Enjoy!
