What a treat it is to be able to pick up a whole bag of beautiful brown sugar from the pantry. However, it is hard to store the whole bag and make sure it doesn't become a solid brick of brown sugar...here are 2 simple tips for storage

INGREDIENTS
1 Brown Sugar (Bag or Jar)
1 MarshmallowCan also use about 5 small marshmallows
1 Napkin (Serviette) or Sheet of Paper Towel
DIRECTIONS
Use marshmallows to keep brown sugar scoopable
1
Revive rock hard brown sugar with a s'more-sized marshmallow. The confection's marvelous moisture-retaining qualities will carry over to the sugar.
Note: You can also add one from the beginning to avoid the brown sugar brick in the first place.
Microwave brown sugar to loosen up clumps
2
If you're in a hurry to regain fluffy sugar grains, put your brown sugar lumps in a bowl. Top with a damp paper towel and microwave for 20 seconds.
