Grilled peaches may be summer’s greatest joy. Cook them over a medium to low gas grill.

6 Peaches, halved and pitted
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Basil, fresh and chopped
1 tsp Thyme, fresh or dried (optional)
Salt and Pepper to taste

Preheat grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.

Whisk olive oil, basil, thyme, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Allow flavors to combine for 5 minutes. Brush oil mixture on inside flesh of peach halves.

Grill peaches, flesh sides down until softened and grill marks appear, about 4 minutes.
Serving suggestions:

- Serve with grilled pork chops or grilled salmon.
- Add to an arugula salad
- Dollop of vanilla ice cream
