INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 White Onion (diced)
1 Jalapeno (seeded and diced)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Paprika
1 lb Ground Beef
¼ cup Tomato Paste
¼ cup Ketchup
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire SauceSoy sauce can be substituted
½ cup Beer - lager or stout (Beef broth can be used if you're under 21 or out of beer)
4 Hamburger Buns
DIRECTIONS

1. Heat oil in large cast iron skillet or Dutch oven over med-hi heat.

Sauté onions until translucent. Add garlic powder and paprika to onions and cook for 1 minute.

Add ground beef to skillet, breaking up the meat as it cooks.

Once meat is browned, add tomato paste thru Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 3-5 minutes, season with salt and pepper to taste. Add beer, or stock and continue to cook.

Turn down heat and let mixture simmer for 20 minutes, or until saucy.

Serve with pickles and coleslaw. Enjoy!
